The Effect of Resveratrol Supplements on Sarcopenic Obesity Mice Skeletal Muscle

Aim: The aim of this study is to determine resveratrol effects on sarcopenic obesity in C57BL/6J mice skeletal muscle due type 2 diabetes mellitus-induced the elderly. Mice (2 years old) feed a high-oil-fat diet (HFD) for weeks and then injected with streptozotocin (STZ, 30mg/kg) induce mellitus continued HFD fed 7 become obese sarcopenia. High- (200 mg/kg), middle- (150 low-dose (50mg/kg) was 5 after STZ injection. Body weights, fat weights were determined. Oxidative stress pro-inflammatory protein expression detected by western blotting. weight increase observed HFD-diet injection mice. We found that oxidative pro-inflammation reduced, levels Bad, caspase 9, IL-6, TNF-alpha decreased.
